In charcoal highlighted in white and believed to be the only motorcyle racing picture painted by Roy Nockolds, this work depicts Surtees in action during 1958 TT at Gooseneck riding an MV Augusta. Signed by Surtees to mount and complete with authentification from the widow of Roy Nockolds. Believed to have been used as an illustration in period MV Augusta literature, this work remained in Nockolds personal collection until his death in 1989. Framed/glazed, 70x55cm.
