Lot details Registration No: DAR 74K Chassis No: A600-1045340 Mot Expiry: Nov 2015
Honda's N360 was a successful runabout aimed squarely at the Japanese domestic market. In deciding to export the model they accepted a more powerful version was required, so created the 600cc N600, whose lusty all-aluminium twin-cylinder engine produced a very respectable 42bhp - sufficient output to propel the little Saloon to c.85mph. A fine offering, but one that faced tough competition in Europe from such established stars as the Mini, Hillman Imp and Fiat 500. Examples such as the nicely-presented sale car are therefore few and far between. Indeed, this is thought to be the only automatic transmission one remaining in the UK. Finished in Red and trimmed in Black, it was thoroughly restored in 2005/2006 and currently indicates an unwarranted 63,275 miles. The vendor considers the bodywork, paintwork, interior trim and engine to be `excellent' and the transmission `A-OK'. `DAR 74K' comes complete with custom-made indoor cover and MOT into November 2015.
