The ubiquitous 'barn discovery' is always of great interest to collectors the world over as they can lead to a much easier restoration in the long run.
This privately entered and much loved example of the Topolino was bought by the present owner in 1976 and over the next few years he spent £575 on the mechanics and some £1800 on the bodywork and interior for which there are receipts in the history file. In 1985 the car was moved to Oxfordshire to complete the restoration, at which point the owner moved to Portugal, but the company ceased trading and the car was moved to a friend's garage. Upon their return to the UK in 1999 the car was 're-discovered' and it had by then not been touched for some twelve years.
That is how you see it today, in need of a complete restoration but as far as we can see totally complete.
