When the scooter boom arrived once again in the late 1950's British manufacturers were also keen to have their share of a very lucrative market, the Viceroy was Velocettes answer, another attempt by them to produce an everyman's machine. Alas it arrived too late but with the recent interest in scooters by enthusiasts reliving their mis-spent youth they are eagerly sought by collectors. 956 HFR was supplied new to Blackpool Agent Whittakers on April 24th 1964 who in turn sold it to Mr Gorst of nearby Bispham. With a mileage of only 5711 it was restored during the early 1990's; offered due to the vendors ill health this is an opportunity to acquire a rare vintage scooter.
