Lot details Registration No: HHJ404D Chassis No: BB35FY30473 Mot Expiry: None
The Ford Corsair was launched as the 120E in 1963 with the 1498cc four cylinder overhead valve engines. It was a wedge nosed saloon, not unlike the contemporary German Taurus model, which was to fill the gap between the Cortinas and the Zephyrs.
Crayford became a very well known name in the sixties for conversion of saloon cars to convertibles and it is indeed they who have completed the conversion to this two door example. The owner warrants the mileage of 50,000 miles from new and it has the manual four speed gearbox and the later 1996cc engine.
It is described as being in good condition and is now a rare car on today's roads and should delight the new owner.
Please note: This car does not have a current MOT - the fail certificate is in the history file for inspection.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
