Welcome to H&H Online

01/11/2017     General News

H&H are once again at the cutting edge of new technologies whilst maintaining essential traditional values. With so much speculation surrounding the future of the classic car auction industry, H&H are looking to offer their clients the best of both worlds; a high quality physical auction service as expected, and a streamlined (and more cost-effective) way to buy and sell their products online to a potentially global market.

Introducing H&H Online - a customised online bidding and trading platform for classic cars, motorcycles and automobilia, launched ahead of the company’s next Duxford sale on November 15th.

The main benefit as an existing or potential H&H buyer, is that there will be 0% Internet Surcharge on all vehicles bought via H&H Online - as apposed to the 1-3% surcharge incurred by purchasing through one of our chosen external online bidding providers, additional to the outlined Buyer's Premium.

H&H’s first timed auction is scheduled for Sunday 3rd December, and is set to host a wide variety of Automobilia for sale online only. More information to be confirmed.

The decision by H&H to offer this new service comes with the recognition that the selling environment today has to be one that suits clients’ own time constraints and that means providing an around the clock (and around the world) facility.

The new service will also allow clients to buy and sell each day of the year - as well as at the company’s nine annual physical sales which continue to grow in size and popularity. The online facility will also enable potential buyers to bid online at physical auctions through the same platform, as well as allowing the company to conduct timed online auctions outside of their existing and proposed physical event calendar going into 2018 - the company’s 25th Anniversary.

“We have grown the business over 25 years by continually making it as user friendly as possible. Now, once again, we are offering a new service that will make the process of buying and selling classic cars and bikes a pleasure by using the very latest that IT can offer with a world class system and reducing costs to clients at the same time.”

Simon Hope, Chairman of H&H Classics

Although the Online facilities will be hosted through H&H Classics’ new website, it will be powered and supported by Bidpath (a trusted and established service provider that has many years’ experience at providing these online services) who will be in attendance to demonstrate H&H Online in person at the next IWM Duxford auction on 15th November.

We hope you'll join us in welcoming this new technology whilst embracing the auction industry's traditional values. H&H encourage all potential Online Bidders to register with the new H&H Online Bidding platform.
