H&H storm the Curborough Sprint 2018

H&H Classics team members James McWilliam (Motorcar Sales) and Adam Sykes (Automobilia) recently competed at the Curborough Sprint in Lichfield. 

Saturday saw the 55th anniversary of the club, with a Classic Sprint going ahead despite the downpour. Adam Sykes won the sprint driving his 1952 Jaguar C-Type with a lap-time of 42.06 seconds. 

Adam was delighted to beat his colleague James, and commented "it was great to beat my personal best lap time but even better to beat James, in a car with twice the horsepower and half the talent!". 

The Curborough Championship Final took place on the Sunday, with the weather taking a significant turn for the better. Out of the large class entry, both H&H team members finished on the podium - this time with James coming out on top in second overall, driving 'the H&H 1964 Ford Mustang' with a laptime of 39.18 seconds. 

With the scores somewhat now settled, both team members came away with forms of silverware (and dignity).
