More than 100 classic, collector and performance cars are set to be hammered away by H&H Classics as it ends the year with a flourish.
The Millbrook Sale, which boasts a combined estimated value of over £3 million takes place on Wednesday 3rd December at the Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire.
Among the lots setting the pace is a 1924 Rolls-Royce Springfield 40/50hp Silver Ghost Piccadilly Roadster, formerly the property of F1 World Champion Phil Hill for two decades between 1967 and 1985.
Given a guide price of £140,000-£180,000, it is a car with great provenance that has been exhibited at Pebble Beach and a past prize winner at The Quail, while it has known ownership from new.
Two Jaguars from the 1960s are sure to also attract keen bidding from enthusiasts.
This includes a notably late 1968 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 litre Fixed Head Coupe, one of just 374 ‘Series 1.5’ right-hand drive cars made and estimated at £50,000-£60,000. Additionally, it has matching chassis and engine numbers, has featured in an advertising campaign and boasts an extensive history file dating back to the 1970s.
Meanwhile, a single-family ownership from new 1960 Jaguar Mk. II 3.4 Saloon is expected to fetch between £30,000-£35,000. Notably original, including its colour combination of Mist Grey with Red leather and registration number, it is offered with a sizeable history file and is a likely contender for numerous preservation awards.
James McWilliam, sales manager at H&H Classics, said: “H&H Classics has enjoyed strong performances in 2025 and we’re aiming to continue this success with our last sale of the year.
“There’s an appealing mix of classic cars on offer, spanning more than a century of automotive history, so it promises to be a fitting year end finale.”
Another 1960s offering is a desirable 1964 Mercedes-Benz 230/250 SL, given a guide price of £50,000-£60,000. Extremely scarce, it is a British-supplied, right-hand drive example fitted with a four-speed manual gearbox together with an engine upgrade made in period.
Ferrari aficionados are well taken care of with a 1984 Ferrari Mondial Quattrovalvole. Estimated at £18,000-£22,000, it is finished in the classic combination of Rosso Corsa with Magnolia leather upholstery, while it is one of just 152 right-hand drive examples.
All lots will be available to view in person at the Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire, from midday on Tuesday 2nd and from 9am on Wednesday 3rd December, while the sale then commences at 12pm.
Anyone looking to bid on one of the lots can do so in person, online, by telephone or by leaving a commission bid, while for more details about any of the cars or to register to bid, visit www.handh.co.uk.
