Classic and collector cars epitomising Britain’s prestigious motoring heritage worth a combined estimate of more than £2.8 million are going under the hammer with H&H Classics in Nottinghamshire.
The Kelham Hall Sale takes place on Wednesday 17th June and has an enticing array of looking for new homes.
Among the 89 lots is a delightful 1960 Aston Martin DB4 Series II, one of just 349 produced. The car is currently stabled alongside various other ‘DB’ Astons and tended to by an in-house mechanic.
It has been given a guide price of £240,000-£260,000 and is described as having an ‘authentic feel’.
James McWilliam, sales manager at H&H Classics, said: “This will be our second auction at Kelham Hall in 2026, and we’re thrilled to be offering a fantastic mix of British classics, complemented by a fine line-up of cars from further afield.”
Other notable British entries include a 1993 Rolls-Royce Corniche Convertible IV, expected to fetch between £90,000-£110,000.
A rare model, being one of just 26 right-hand drive examples made, it has covered just over 34,500 miles from new and has been in its current family ownership for thirty years.
Additionally, there is a 1950 Healey Silverstone D-Type which is also expected to attract much interest. It is one of just c.104 Silverstones produced and has been given a guide price of £80,000-£100,000.
The light blue car underwent a ‘nut-and-bolt’ restoration in 2025 and has covered fewer than five miles since, while it is potentially eligible for the Mille Miglia Storica and other esteemed events.
A 1950 Jaguar XK120 Roadster ‘Alloy’ Dick Protheroe Tribute will also be joining the midweek auction. It is offered with an FIA Technical Passport valid until 2029 and has been estimated at £80,000-£100,000.
Meanwhile, a 1955 Sunbeam Alpine III Ex-Works Rally Car, which was due to be driven by Sir Stirling Moss before the rally was cancelled, will also make its presence felt and has been given a guide price of £50,000-£60,000.
All lots will be available to view in person at Kelham Hall, Newark, from midday on Tuesday 16th June and from 9am on Wednesday 17th June while the sale then commences at 12pm.
Anyone looking to bid on one of the lots can do so in person, online, by telephone or by leaving a commission bid, while for more details about any of the cars or to register to bid, visit www.handh.co.uk.
