Two stunning classic Ferraris, both rare and low mileage, are set to go under the hammer with H&H Classics at its Kelham Hall auction on Wednesday 17th June in Nottinghamshire.
Each boasting an amazing presence, they are a 1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Series I ‘Interim’, estimated at £180,000-£220,000 and a 1983 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalole, estimated at £65,000-£75,000.
The 1965 Ferrari being auctioned is one of just nine right-hand drive models of its type. A Series I ‘Interim’ machine, of which only 124 were made (115 LHD and 9 RHD), it features a five-speed manual gearbox, upgraded brakes and wider wire wheels.
In addition to its rarity, it boasts matching numbers throughout including engine, chassis, gearbox and body, while it has not long enjoyed a thorough restoration to factory specification including factory colour scheme of Celeste paintwork with black leather upholstery.
Believed to have covered a mere 59,000 miles from new with only 50 or so of those travelled since the completion of a six-year restoration in 2019, the work was project managed by well-respected Ferrari specialist Peter Higgins Sports Cars and cost around £218,000.
Paul Cheetham, senior motor car specialist at H&H Classics, said: “This is an exceptional Ferrari, one for collectors and enthusiasts alike. In fact, we can think of no other 330 GT 2+2 that we would rather own and it truly deserves a place at an international concours.”
Meanwhile, also going under the hammer is an instantly recognisable 1983 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalole, one of the most iconic supercars of the 1980s.
The example being auctioned has covered just 20,000 miles from new and is one of only 233 UK-supplied, right-hand drive examples.
Paul added: “This will be our second auction at Kelham Hall so far in 2026, and the first one saw some fantastic results among the classic, collector and performance motorcars on offer. With such splendid examples as these two rare and low mileage Ferraris, I’m sure our June auction will also be a great success.”
All lots will be available to view in person at Kelham Hall, Newark, from midday on Tuesday 16th June and from 9am on Wednesday 17th June while the sale then commences at 12pm.
Anyone looking to bid on one of the lots can do so in person, online, by telephone or by leaving a commission bid, while for more details about any of the cars or to register to bid, visit www.handh.co.uk.
