Featuring a large-format restrike poster for the 1958 Grand Prix of Cuba. The race was held in Havana and was the second of three total races in Cuba. This race was significant in that Fangio was kidnapped by pro-Castro forces on the eve of the race and release unharmed after the race, while a Ferrari crashed into the stands killing 7 spectators leading to the cancellation of the 1959 race. An excellent and very early specimen of Fangio's autograph is also mounted within the display. Framed and glazed to a professional standard. 41x60cm
