The right-hand drive Lotus Cortina on offer is understood to be a 1965 MKI model that was restored to fast road/rally specification between May 2004 and 2006 by Eddie Ganderton, but has covered a mere 800 miles since. The vendor informs us that the specification includes:
Engine - correct 4-bolt crank with matching head and block numbers. Fully balanced, gas flowed and ported. Period Magard double throttle linkage on Weber 40 DCOE 18s, 2-inch exhaust with competition manifold, 2 x Facet fuel pumps in boot, Aeroquip fuel lines.
.plus - many period items including Waltham 8-day mechanical clock, Halda tripometer, Lucas Continental driving lights, fixed back front seats, Britax inertia reel seat belts, Avanti Flexilight.
'KPU 103C' is finished in traditional Ermine White with Green side flash and trimmed in Black. The vendor considers the bodywork, paintwork, trim, engine and transmission to be all "good" and this fast Ford is MOT'd into February 2012.
