Lot details Registration No: MOG 44S Chassis No: C6720 Mot Expiry: Jan 2015
Apart from a break for WWII and another brief one in the early '50s, Morgan's 4/4 model has been in continuous production from 1936 - it was the company's first four-wheeled car and the name simply means 4 wheels/4 cylinders. This very smartly presented example hails from 1985 and features Silver bodywork and colour-keyed wire wheels teamed with a subtle shade of Green leather interior trim and Green carpets. The drivetrain comprises a 1600cc Ford CVH engine driving through a Sierra five speed manual gearbox. Apparently the previous keeper was a fastidious TVR engineer and it was he who treated the Moggie to an extensive restoration. The vendor says 'the quality speaks for itself' and grades the bodywork, paintwork, interior trim, engine and transmission as all being in 'excellent' order. The 4/4 comes complete with the registration 'MOG 44S', full weather equipment, original handbook, old MOTs and one valid into January.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
