Triumph had a long tradition of off road competition involvement, particularly in long distance events such as the ISDT. Throughout the sixties they had offered variants of the Trophy and Tiger ranges adapted for off road use and as they entered the seventies they commenced development of a new 500c machine. Aimed at the trail market rather than the serious off road competitor the new machine featured a slim line aluminium fuel tank similar to that fitted to the TR5MX, high level mudguards and an up swept exhaust system.
This example is described as being in excellent condition in all respects having been restored by John Weedon Restorations during 2000/2001. It is offered with a V5 registration document.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
