All reputedly captured by the official photographer at the 1939 Grossglockner Hillclimb, this selection of mounted high quality black/white images, depict a whole host of professional drivers competing in works cars. German officers are seen to be lining the track and are captured in conversation with the drivers including Bernd Rosemeyer. Cars depicted include Auto Union D-Type, Mercedes-Benz W125, Frazer-Nash BMW 328, Maserati 4CM, Adler and many others. An important lot, from the seminal era of German motorsport.
