Lot details Registration No: CYR110H Chassis No: 1452402 Mot Expiry: Aug 2005
If you want to take part in the Post Historic category of road rallies then this late entered 1750 GTV MkI - which first left Alfa Romeo's factory in 1969 and which has an engine of less than 2-litres capacity and no more than four-cylinders - could be just what you are looking for.
We understand that the right-hand drive coupe, a genuine and original UK market car, was completely restored for Le Jog and other rallies, although it is still very much in road going, road event spec and comes with such navigational aids as tripmeter and stopwatch. Indeed, CYR 110H successfully completed the Lands End to John O'Groats marathon as well as two other events.
Said to be ready for any Continental rally, it is claimed currently to be in fabulous condition with silver paintwork and black vinyl interior reportedly excellent, and both 1777cc capacity twin cam motor as well as handling described as fabulous. MOT and tax disc will not require renewal until August.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
