Triumph first introduced the TR range with the production of the three TRX's in 1950 but the first real TR was the TR2. The TR range continued through until 1981 with the TR7 but many would consider the middle part of this range, the TR4 and the TR5 era to be the pinnacle of their success.
We have a 1966 example of the TR4A, which comes with full FIA papers, and is ready to take you on lots of jaunts around the world. There is a full set of information in the history file showing exactly what has happened to this car since December 1999 when it was fully rebuilt to competition specification. It competed in the London to Lisbon 2001 race and achieved a gold medal and a second in class and has also taken part in the Classic Malts and the Winter Trial and in fact has done about fifteen events in the last three years.
It is therefore ready to go either on another rally or to the shops and whichever you choose to do it will get you there.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
