Lot details Registration No: BF 6492 Chassis No: 7401397 Mot Expiry: Exempt
A 1923 centre-door saloon purchased at RM's Danish auction last year, the vendor advises he has spent the past eight months recommissioning the car. Work carried out includes the fitment of four new tyres and tubes, restored trembler coils, reconditioned carburettor, new petrol tank, new water hoses and new front screens and wiper. The underside has been cleaned and painted, the woodwork treated, rear brake parts replaced, the transmission bands relined, electrics rewired and converted to 12V, starter motor overhauled and a new voltage regulator fitted together with "many other small parts replaced that are too numerous to list".
The black paintwork is described as "OK" whilst the engine "runs fine" and the transmission is "good". The grey/beige interior is "original but worn" with no carpets fitted, though a carpet pattern has been made and is included. Now UK registered, 'BF 6492' is offered with parts invoices, Swansea V5c document and road fund licence to 31st May 2014.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
