Lot details Registration No: YVL 210 Chassis No: 2908 Mot Expiry: Exempt
- Rare 8W Block
- Operating sliding sunroof and original brown leather interior
- Current ownership 7 years and in regular use
The following information has been provided by the vendor :
"These cars are becoming increasingly rare now. Last of the George Roesch cars before Rootes completely took over. The car is reliable and is driven regularly.
The car benefits from a AM 75 Chromite replacement block and the high compression and superior valve gear of the BD 75.
It has few sensible upgrades, such as a stainless steel exhaust system, a modern fuse box and lever arm shock absorbers, large rear back/brake lights, halogen front lights etc
There is limited history with the car as it spent most of its life in South Wales with its first academic owner and then his son. After this I believe it spent time with the Talbot Owners club Archivist James Fack a well know Talbot man. I acquired the car from James est 8 years ago and after about a year I had a new head gasket fitted and a de coke "
