Lot details Registration No: 412 LOP Chassis No: 8886 Mot Expiry: May.2003.
The Volvo Company was founded in 1927 under the management of Assar Gabriellson with a backing from the S.K.F. Ball Bearing Firm. It introduced the 'Saint' P1800 in 1960 and produced it for a further nine years and Jensen originally made this attractive two-seater sports coupe for Volvo.
The example we have on offer for you today dates from 1964 and is an early desirable model with cowhorn bumpers and the heavy chrome trim and it was one of the Swedish built cars. It has had much work done on it recently including having the interior re-trimmed and the engine and suspension springs have been uprated for historic road rallying and a full point harness fitted.
The original seatbelts are with the car as are the wheel trims and it is currently tested and taxed until May next year. This is a manual with overdrive example and is described as being in good condition throughout and the cherished registration number 412 LOP is included in the sale of this lovely car.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
