One of the most easily recognised sports personalities in the world today, and certainly England's Number One sports star, David Beckham was the first owner of the fabulous BMW M3 Evolution convertible crossing the block here today.
Supplied new by BMW Dealers Williams Manchester to the special order of the then Manchester United Football Club superstar, the M3 Evo in Estoril Blue with dark blue hood and leather interior left the Munich works with fully loaded specification. Among the items specified by the England Captain were a woodline kit and front centre armrest from the E36 coupe and automatic air conditioning.
Combining Beckham's player 'Number 10' status when at Man U as well as his full initials, the personalised plates were fitted to the car from new. Indeed, P10 DRB has been much recorded in news footage and celebrity photos during the Becks and Posh ownership years, being pictured in 'Victoria's Secrets'. Happily, too, this cherished registration remains intact on the vehicle to this day.
The 75,706 miles displayed when entered for this sale is claimed to be the genuine total mileage from new, whilst the vendor reports that the overall cosmetic condition is good, and both the 3201cc 6-cylinder engine and 6-speed manual gearbox are in good order too. The provenance is, of course, sensational!
