Lot details Registration No: D69 CHG Chassis No: WBAEE320100760411 Mot Expiry: Feb 2006
This M635 CSi first left BMW's Munich factory in 1987, having been in the vendor's ownership since February 1997, since when it has been his daily driver. The two-door coupe is to original specification apart from a set of uprated alloy wheels and a sports suspension kit by Sachs - although the original equipment wheels and springs are included with the car. Also fitted are a custom-made stainless steel exhaust and a Blaupunkt radio/CD player.
The right-hand drive chassis is said to be sound, the bodywork fair, the red paintwork and wheels and tyres all good, and the black hide seats and vinyl trimmed interior also in good condition. The 3453cc capacity six is reportedly in excellent order and, while the first motion shaft bearings are said to be noisy, the transmission is described as being generally good.
We are advised that although the air conditioning currently does not work, it most probably only requires re-charging. Everything else on the car works, says the owner, who believes that the 108,000 mileage displayed when entered for this sale is the genuine total for this very rapid Bavarian from new.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
