Enzo Ferrari's world famous road and competition cars were made initially in Modena itself and, since during WW2, at nearby Maranello, from where their totally dominant F1s set off to conquer the GP car opposition so effectively on TV most weekends throughout the summer. Because of their continued high profile success in recent seasons, Ferrari has become THE marque for the motor sport enthusiast to own. As a result of the achievements of Messrs Schumey and Rubino on track, and Napolean and Ross the Boss on the pit counter, Ferrari road cars, already highly desirable with aficionados, have nearly all appreciated.
Offered here is one of the most beautiful looking Ferraris, a Pininfarina-styled 328GTS built in Northern Italy in 1988. According to the vendor, this is an excellent example of the targa-top coupe with air-conditioning. Along with service history, which is on file, importantly, the cambelts have been changed only 1600 miles ago. Whilst the colour combination of Chiaro metallic blue and Grigio leather is rare and desirable and suits the car well.
The current condition of bodywork and paintwork is said to be excellent and the interior very good. The 3.2-litre 8-cylinder engine is in excellent order and the 5-speed manual transmission very good. The 39,330 mileage displayed when entered is believed to be the genuine total from new and the MOT pass is current until June.
