Adolf Hitler's Porsche designed KdF-Wagen was made in only very small numbers before and during the Second World War and is officially listed as only having started life in 1945. It actually started life under British administration and the famed Beetle set out on a career, which is still continuing in Mexico.
We are delighted to offer today this 'last edition' example which has completed only 21,000 miles from new and was used as a VW showroom display car until late on into 1995. It was bought by the present owner in 1996 and has only been used in fine weather since and has attended many shows and rallies and won many concours awards. It has also featured in an article about the family's love affair with Volkswagens, a copy of which is in the history file.
It is in outstanding condition throughout obviously, and comes with the 1200cc four-cylinder engine and the manual four-speed transmission and this is quite possibly the best example you will ever have seen.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
