Perhaps the most important motorcycle racing trophy of all time, this TT replica trophy was awarded to Mike for his successes at the 1967 Junior Isle of Man `Tourist Trophy' race, riding the 297cc Honda Rc174 `Six'. This particular motorcycle was voted `Bike of the Millennium' by Classic Bike readers.
The trophy features a green `Auto Cycle Union' enamel badge to trophy base, along with the original wooden display base, with mounted plaque reading `Auto-Cycle Union 1967 T.T. Races Junior Race 1st S.M.B. Hailwood 104.68M.p.h'. Produced by the Birmingham Medal & Badge Company & offered in completely original condition, featuring some tarnishing and loss/yellowing of plating, light wear & a missing pin to base, together with a missing `Caduceus' (also known as the Wand of Hermes). Approximately 26cm tall & simply superb!
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
