1990 Ford Sierra 2.8 Ghia Estate 4X4

Lot details

Registration No: G320 CAC
Chassis No: WF0NXXGBBNKB59474
MOT: T.B.C

Motor Car Location: West Midlands

  • Thought to be one of only 16 Ghia 4x4's left (including Saloon variants)
  • 100,900 miles from new and only 3 former keepers
  • Fitted with RS side skirts, rear bumper and wheels

In September 1987, a restyled Sierra was launched for the 1988 model year and a four-door saloon version was added to the range. The front end was completely revised, with the biggest difference seeing the indicators now positioned above the bumper and to the side of a new headlight design. The rear lights were replaced with slimmer but wider models containing separate stop lamps. The saloon got similar rear lights as the revised hatchbacks, though not interchangeable. The rear end of the estate has never changed during the Sierra's lifespan. The interior was slightly modernized.

The 2.8 Ghia 4x4 was produced in both saloon and estate form, however it is now a scarcely surviving trim model with only 16 of both variants thought to still exist. They were powered by the 2792cc Cologne V6 engine reported to be producing 135bhp when manufactured, alongside a 5-speed manual gearbox.

This estate model was produced in 1990 and first UK registered in February that year and is finished in Diamond White with Grey cloth interior. With only three former keepers showing on HPI and 100,900 miles from new, this Ghia 4x4 is a rare survivor. Fitted with the RS sideskirts, rear bumper, and wheels, as well as sunroof, wind deflector and roof bars, believed to be from factory, this is a scarce example of what is thought to be one of only 16 Ghia 4x4’s left on the road. Offered with a substantial collection of past invoices, vast collection of past MOTs, a number of past tax discs, and factory-fitted Stereo.
