The name Aston Martin is among one of the most revered names in the motoring industry and although it had lost its way, David Brown revived it in the 1950's. He sold out in 1972 and in 1974 the company went into liquidation but new owners were found and eventually Ford came along to take into its present very healthy state.
We are pleased to offer you today this 1973 Vantage 6 Sports saloon, which is one of only seventy examples manufactured and they were originally made shortly after the takeover. We believe it to had just had three owners from new with the original owner passing it on to his brother in law and then onto the present owner and vendor. It is described as being in good condition throughout and is finished in Cornish gold metallic, which is a lovely light green colour.
It is fitted with the automatic transmission, about half of them were we believe, and the odometer reads 27,744 miles, which they believe to be correct from new. A rare car in need of another very good home.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
