The most desirable of all Norton's post-war road bikes, the Inter, was a rare sight when new and consequently fifty years on genuine examples are exceptionally scarce. Fortunately if you wish to replicate an Inter it is only the engine that is special as the cycle parts when slightly modified were used on other models in the range.
This machine has been constructed using a bolt-up featherbed frame with an all alloy 350cc Inter overhead camshaft engine. The mechanical aspects are described as being in good order, whereas the frame's paint and plating is only described as being in average condition.
It does however offer the thrill of an Inter at possibly less than half the price of the genuine article.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
