This Drixton Honda Replica was built during 2008 by the vendor with the intention of entering the machine in the Manx Grand Prix. Sadly, his rider was killed before the machine could be used.
It has been built to the highest standards throughout. The engine is fitted with Arrow con rods with lightened Wiseco pistons running in nikasil plated aluminium liners. Megacycle cams and R & D valve spring conversions control the race quality inlet and exhaust valves. Dell'Orto carburettors control the fuel supply and a PVL ignition system supplies the sparks. An oil cooler and external oil lines are fitted. A six spring adjustable clutch transmits the power to a six speed Nova gearbox.
35mm Ceriani forks and Maxton rear suspension units are fitted with braking being provided by a front disc fitted with a Lockheed caliper and Honda master cylinder combined with a cable operated Honda drum rear brake. A short circuit fuel tank and seat are fitted to the machine which is accompanied by a Daytona seat unit.
The red and silver machine, which is described as being in very good condition, has covered only 10 miles since its completion and is offered in ready to race or parade condition.
