Lot details Registration No: ETA134T Chassis No: 9119311178 Mot Expiry: June 2005
This 911, a right-hand drive SC Targa-top coupe, first left the Porsche works in Stuttgart in 1979 and has been in current ownership for almost ten years, during which time it has always been garaged while only being driven less than 10,000 miles. The 113,918 miles displayed on the odometer when entered is believed by the vendor to be the genuine total mileage for the 911 from new.
What makes ETA 134T really special is the fact that the 3-litre six-cylinder engine, which was rebuilt in 1992, has been supercharged. Further upgrades to the standard SC specification include AP Racing brakes, competition shock absorbers, braided brake pipes and a strut bracing bars. Indeed, according to the owner, many £1000s have been spent on the car over the years.
Current condition of classically-shaped, two-door body shell is described by him as being good, with yellow-painted body panels and alloys also good and interior in tan tex fair. The motor, which has always been treated to fully-synthetic oil, five-speed manual transmission and electrics are all reportedly in good order, while the car runs satisfactorily on unleaded. A spare drive-belt for the supercharger is included.
As well as a stamped service booklet confirming services, the documents file also contains lots of bills as well as fifteen former MOTs and tax discs, the latest test certificate being valid until June, the current tax disc until May. With a 0-60mph capability of around four seconds, this is a really quick car, ideal for sprints or the road. Potentially inexpensive too.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
