Raleigh motorcycles earned an enviable reputation for reliability and quality during the 1920's, reinforcing the public perception with successes in reliability trials.
This example is apparently an older restoration. It is equipped with a chain and belt transmission and countershaft gearbox with a hand change. A carrier, full acetylene lighting kit, Covex speedometer, bulb horn and leather fronted toolboxes are also fitted. The engine turns over and the machine appears to be generally sound. It is offered with a Swansea V5C, two buff logbooks and an expired tax disc.
