Lot details Registration No: 202 BNV Chassis No: 73001223A Mot Expiry: March 2003
The three litre Rover was introduced in 1958 and was in service for an invaluable ten year period during which time it was beloved of British officialdom and came in both saloon and coupe guises.
This particular example, which dates from 1962, was supplied new by Townsend Garage in Rushden, Northamptonshire and was registered to the first owner for the first twenty-six years. The car still retains its original tools, handbooks and the mileage of 49,000 miles shown on the odometer is believed to be correct from new.
During the late 1980's the car was professionally restored and we are informed that it drives extremely well and is currently tested and taxed and ready to drive away from today's sale.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
