This delightful and rare four-door Cabriolet is finished in the smart combination of Westminster Green over Black and trimmed in Green leather. An extensive restoration in the 1990s included attention to the engine, gearbox, rear axle and steering. For some time displayed in a museum it now comes to market complete with old VE60 logbook that confirms its Surrey registration, owner's manual, parts book, various receipts and some additional history. The model is among the rarest of Austin's open-top offerings and 'HPF 693' is thought to be one of only 27 remaining. The vendor views its bodywork, paintwork, interior trim, four-cylinder engine and four-speed manual gearbox as all being in 'Very Good' order. A rare opportunity for sun-loving classic car drivers everywhere. History shows the Austin 10 to have become a best seller for the company and a mainstay of the model range until 1947. The Conway was a Cabriolet version of the Cambridge Series.
