Finished in the contrasting combination of White bodywork and Tan leather interior. A lefthand drive export model, it appears to have begun life in the USA before being repatriated in 1986 by the previous owner, a Mr A Carr. He apparently then shipped it to Malaga, Spain in order to use it while at his villa there in 1991. It was in Malaga that the vendor acquired the Jensen, in 2012. Under his ownership the Jensen has been subject to a re-paint, new Bridgestone tyres, new stainless steel exhaust, back springs, all the leather recognised, new carpets, reconditioned steering rack, top and bottom ball joints, overhauled brakes, new alternator, new front bumper and a replacement windscreen. Apart from initially driving it for a few months, he has since treated the big Coupe to a leisurely existence and recently decided to return it to the UK in search of a suitably deserving new keeper. Designed by Carrozzerria Touring and built by Jensen Motors in West Bromwich, the Interceptor was a unique blend of Italian styling, British engineering and American muscle. Launched in 1966, it enjoyed a 10 year production run, during which 6,408 examples were created.
