Peugeot 205 Euro Rallye. These are very collectable and not to be confused with the UK spec Rallye. They were homologated by Peugeot Talbot Sport to compete in the under 1300cc class group N rallying. The engine was bored out by PTS from 1124cc to 1294 cc, fitted with twin 40 webbers and a trick cam. The PTS engineers also took about reducing the weight- at 790kg it is very light. They are a wonderfully responsive car to drive. Top Gear presenter Chris Harris bought one and recently tweeted "probably the most special car I own". This 1989 phase 1 car was restored in Spain before I imported it to the UK. The mileage is 61k though it has only done 3k since restoration which included a full engine rebuild. Most of the cars I view in Spain are in poor condition. Many abused and modified. This car was a great find. However, it wasn't as good as I like and many weeks have been spent bringing the car up to standard. It is now stunning.
