Lot details Registration No: UKF 38H Frame No: PD33800 Engine No: PD33800 cc: 649 MOT Expiry Date: April 2008
The 1970 season was the final year of production prior to the adoption of the oil in frame across the Triumph range, consequently changes to the models for that year were confined to detail improvements. The Trophy continued to offer virtually the same performance as the Bonneville without the hassle of keeping two carburettors in tune.
This example, attractively finished in red and silver, displays matching numbers and has been the subject of considerable expenditure. Stainless steel rims and spokes are fitted as is an electronic ignition system. The rebuilt engine has been converted to run on unleaded fuel and the machine is accompanied by bills for over £2,500 relating to the restoration. It is offered with a Swansea V5C, an Mot certificate valid until the 29th April 2008 and is currently on SORN.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
