Lot details Registration No: RPA482X Chassis No: 03001087 Mot Expiry: None
Offered here is a late-entered GTV6 coupe which first left the Alfa Romeo works in 1981. The righthand drive fixed head has only had three owners, we are told, and has extensive service history authenticated by lots of bills and photographs on file from the early 1990s when the second owner expended many thousands of pounds on bodywork and engine.
Despite this refurbishment, however, the Italian GT is claimed still to be very original and sound, particularly for an early GTV6. Current condition of two-door bodyshell, black paintwork and golden beige velour trim are described as being good, whilst 2.5-litre V6 motor, four-speed manual transmission and alloys are reportedly in good order.
The Northern Ireland vendor - who acquired the Alfa from marque specialists Lombarda Sport in 1999 since when it has been taken on many classic car outings - tells us that although the car has been prepared for an MOT Test, due to recent industrial action at Test Centres in the province, an MOT test may not have been possible by sale day. Potential bidders are therefore recommended to check out the latest MOT situation with our Documents Office here at Buxton.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
