Lot details Registration No: WVW 193 Chassis No: 29729 Mot Expiry: None
Built by Brian Sutton to exacting standards for International competition including the Coppa D'Italia (it has competed twice), the Mille Miglia, the Isle of Man races, various International Historic Meetings, all MG 'T' series events and a host of Historic Motorsport events. It competed throughout the 1990's and until Brian's death in 1999.
The engine was built by George Edney, one of the foremost MG engine builders and someone Simon Hope knows really well as he built all Simon's MG race engines, and it has all steel internals, forged pistons, four branch exhaust, race camshaft and clutch, has a TC racing gearbox and runs on Castrol 'R'. The suspension and brakes are fully modified and it has telescopic and adjustible shock absorbers with competition springs all round. Trampbar shocks are at the rear, the anti rollbar, four point harnesses and Yokohama competition tyres are all also present.
We are informed that it runs strongly and is quick with the panels all GRP and aluminium over a new ash frame. It is also road usable and has full international FIA papers.
