The post war Square Four differed little from the last pre war examples except for the telescopic forks that graced the front end of the machine when production examples became available in 1946. Little else changed for the next two seasons, but for 1948 a revised engine was introduced which sought to redress the increase in weight that had occurred with the revisions to the machines suspension. The engines bottom end did not alter a great deal but the top end was considerably altered with the cylinder block and head changing to light alloy construction resulting in a reduction in the machines overall weight of 100lb. The opportunity was taken to replace the magneto ignition system with a coil system, the points and distributor being driven by a skew gear from the dynamo.
This example, dating from 1952 was restored during 2007 and is described as being "cosmetically and mechanically very correct". It is described as running well and is offered with a Swansea V5C.
