During 1950 the Bristol company Douglas introduced a trials model derived from the existing Mk IV road machine. The new model featured a special rigid frame which increased the ground clearance, although the standard "Radiadraulic" forks were used with a 21" front wheel and a 4.00" section rear. A higher saddle mounting, upswept exhaust system and light alloy mudguards completed the machine.
We are informed by the vendor that this machine was built approximately 7 to 8 years ago using the correct components throughout. It is attractively finished in Black with silver lining.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
