Mototrans had commenced the manufacture of Ducati motorcycles under licence during 1959. Early models differed little from their Italian cousins although by the 1970's, at which time the company was offering a variant of the 750GT vee twin in addition to the established single cylinder range, the models were being tailored to their domestic market to a far greater extent.
Mototrans developed a special 250cc class machine during the 1960's to compete in the Montjuich 24 Hours endurance race achieving a considerable degree of success in it's class and subsequently released a road legal replica, typed the "24 Horas 250" for sale.
This example is has been prepared for classic competition having been stripped of some of its road legal equipment including the lighting set and switchgear. It retains the matched speedometer and tachometer together with the battery and toolboxes. It is nicely presented with good red paintwork. Spanish papers accompany the motorcycle.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
