A rare & an interesting early accessory mascot, known as the 'Ammco Whirlplane'. The piece mounts around the base of a radiator spout & imitates a six cylinder radial engine, with large twin blade propeller. Cast in single form, the propeller & engine spin when wind passes over the mascot & this movement generates enough power to light up two of the cylinders which feature tiny reflective lenses. Electrical condition is unknown, however the mascot is highly presentable & most attractive. Produced by the 'Anglo Mach MFG. Co' of New York city around 1910.
