- First registered in May 1967 and showing only three former keepers (since DVLA's computerisation) on the V5C
- Acquired by the vendor earlier this year after a few years of inactivity and recently treated to a repaint
- Described by the vendor as being in "very good" to "excellent" condition in all respects
Land-Rover's Series models were extremely popular with people from all over the world, and the IIA is thought to have been the most successful variant, with sales around 1969/70 believed to have reached 60,000 units a year. Quite a feat for a relatively young company with a small and targeted product range. Little is known about the history of this wonderfully coloured example, although that could easily be solved by a new owner with a V888 application to the DVLA. The V5C has recorded only three former keepers (since the DVLA's computerisation) and the current owner acquired the car earlier this year after it had experienced a period of inactivity. Treated to a new coat of paint the vendor describes the vehicle as being in "very good" to "excellent" in all respects.
