Douglas’ passion for all cars began at just four years old and has shaped both his personal and professional journey ever since. A defining moment came in the mid-1980s when he saw his first Lamborghini in the metal an experience that set a lifelong ambition in motion. Today, he is the custodian of his second Lamborghini, a Diablo, fulfilling a goal that has underpinned decades of dedication to the marque.

Commercially sales driven, Douglas has built a reputation for delivering revenue growth, executing high-value transactions and developing long-term client relationships within luxury, performance-led markets. His expertise is particularly strong across Italian marques including Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati and De Tomaso, complemented by a deep appreciation and knowledge of American automobiles spanning pre-war engineering through to late 1970s classics.

This knowledge is grounded in genuine, hands-on experience. Douglas has owned and managed a notable collection of vehicles including a Ferrari F355, Ferrari 575M Maranello, Ferrari Testarossa, Lamborghini Jalpa and Lamborghini Diablo, alongside pre-war American models such as a 1933 Graham Blue Streak, 1936 Graham Crusader, 1937 Cadillac Coupe, 1940 Buick 41C and 1946 Chevrolet Fleetline. He has also successfully sold a wide range of Italian exotica and American classics, developing a sharp understanding of valuation, and market dynamics.

Before specialising in select automotive sector, Douglas built a strong commercial foundation as General Manager within fine hotels.  Earlier in his career, Douglas conducted over 1,000 hotel inspections across more than 80 countries, refining a meticulous eye for quality, presentation and detail, skills that translate directly into his approach within the collector car market.
