Based in Yorkshire, Chris spent nine years importing and trading classic motorcycles and has travelled extensively across Europe sourcing mainly Japanese marques from the 1970s and 1980s. During that time he developed a particular passion for discovering, researching and authenticating models, while building a strong understanding of the classic motorcycle market.
Chris’s enthusiasm for motorcycles and cars comes from his father, a motor trader and mechanical engineer who enjoyed a successful racing career in the late 1970s and 1980s on machines including Yamaha TZs, the Honda CB1100RB and the early “slabside” Suzuki GSX-Rs. From a young age he developed a working knowledge of car and motorcycle mechanics and has restored various bikes, including a Yamaha RD500 and Honda CBX. Before moving into the classic motorcycle world full-time, Chris also spent nearly five years working with Mercedes-Benz in an aftersales role, where he was recognised nationally for his customer service.
Whether researching a machine’s history, assessing originality or discussing the nuances of classic Japanese motorcycles, Chris brings both practical experience and genuine enthusiasm.
