Morgan Pedal Car – sold for £1,150

So many of us have stuff cluttering up our attics or cellars or garden sheds and the impulse is to do a run to the dump to clear some space. But do be careful if you do that, as you might just be throwing money away.

This Morgan Pedal Car (above) by Hamilton Brooks & Co, Hereford sold for £1,150 at the H&H Classics Automobilia Auction online which ended on Sunday June 20th with a sale total of £156,000 and a sell rate of 98 per cent.

This bright red Morgan pedal car by Hamilton Brooks & Co of Hereford, has a steel chassis with treadle-action drive to rear axle, wheels with solid rubber tyres, fibreglass body, finished red with black upholstery, Perspex 'aero' screen, 124cm long overall. Total dimensions - 124x48x39cm.

Lodge Spark Plugs hanging advertising sign

A rare and early Lodge Spark Plugs hanging advertising sign sold for £1,955. A wood and metal construction, in the shape of an oversized sparking plug, painted in black, white and silver, with ornate hanging bracket. 74cm (29ins) high.
