A classic Landrover which found a home with its first owner from 1951 until 2010, was sold when he died and it was bought by the current owner and well stored and used only lightly.

Now it goes on sale for just the third time in its life with H&H Classics at Buxton on July 19th. The vehicle still has its original number. It has been based in same Cheshire from 1951 to date.

The vehicle runs superbly well with its lovely sweet 1600cc engine and solex carburettor. It is fitted with cutting edge technology for the time - twin heaters with screen demisters as used from new.

Roger Nowell of H&H Classics comments: “Now this really is a classic of its kind. And its in surprisingly good shape. The chassis, crossmember, outriggers and bulkhead are all in a very good state and appear not to have been welded or patched. Patently a much loved Landrover.”
