2004 Maserati 4200 GT

Estimated at £7,000 - £9,000

Lot details

Registration No: T.B.A
Chassis No: ZAMBC38C000013419
MOT: November 2025

  • Just 64,000 miles from new
  • Rare to find with such excellent service history, coming with a full main dealer and specialist history present
  • Current registered ownership since 2018
  • Finished in the highly attractive Argento Luna Metallic

Just as the DB7 did for Aston Martin, at a stroke the 3200 rejuvenated the Maserati brand. Unveiled at the 2002 Detroit Show, the 177mph Maserati Coupe (a.k.a. 4200 GT) was styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro of Italdesign. A direct evolution of the 3200 GT, the 4200 GT Coupe was introduced at the Detroit Auto Show in 2002 and was a genuine four-seater powered by a normally aspirated, Ferrari-based engine, of 390bhp. Developing 385bhp/332lbft, its 4244cc V8 engine was allied to a six-speed transmission that could be had in conventional manual or 'Cambiocorsa' guises (the latter incorporating electrohydraulic assistance and F1-style steering wheel paddles).

Supplied new by Maranello Ferrari Maserati of Sevenoaks, Kent on the 19th June 2004, the 4200 GT was finished from the factory in the highly attractive Argento Luna Metallic paintwork with Grigio Chiaro leather upholstery, Grigio Fumo carpets, and a Nero dashboard. Specified from the factory with Skyhook suspension, 'Aluminium' callipers, heated seats, GPS navigation, cruise control, electric seats with driver memory, folding mirrors, and Maserati stability program. Examples of the 4200 GT are rare to find with excellent service history, yet this example is offered with full main dealer and specialist service history present, with the stamped service book illustrating fifteen stamps, all from main agents or specialists, with the most recent completed in March this year at 63,902 miles by Giallo Maserati Specialist.

In current registered ownership since 2018, the Maserati has been well used through this ownership covering some 12,000 miles, and yet is still offered now having covered a very modest 64,000 miles from new. Driving very well during the recent photography session with no warning lights present on the dashboard, the original tool kit, the full book pack in Maserati wallet, flat tyre kit, red key card, and both keys are all accompanying. The 18-inch alloys are shod with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres all round, with the Maserati possessing a no advisory MOT until November this year, and two sets of keys.

PLEASE NOTE: The registration number showing in the images is not included in the sale.
