Many mechanical components have received attention and been renewed, and a new uprated MGOC engine, balanced, Stage 2 tuned, on SU HS6 1 3/4 carbs and of 1950cc capacity fitted in a detailed bay. Both ignition and alternator have been renewed, too, as have starter motor, 4-speed manual gearbox and overdrive. Brake discs, pads, drums, shoes and pipes have been replaced and the suspension uprated with Spax shockers. The impressive spec of this car, which sits on chrome wires shod with 175 Yokohama tyres, includes an exhaust in stainless steel, a Kenlow fan and a CD player.
The documents file really is worth reading as it lists in considerable detail the enormous amount of work done to this car. The current overall condition of BRG paintwork and black leather interior are rated by the owner as being A1 and excellent.
