Lot details Registration No: VDY 310 Chassis No: GEH4 Mot Expiry: Exempt
The body of this this fine looking 20/25 is believed to have been designed and built for a director of Rolls-Royce itself by William Arnold, and given the title of Airline Sports Saloon. The vendor is not apparently aware of another example like it and informs us that: the car's six-cylinder engine and four-speed manual gearbox are both 'original and in good order'; all the instruments 'work correctly', as do the car's electrics; and the Black leather interior trim is deemed to be in 'good' condition, as is the walnut veneer trim of the doors and facia. Finished in the eye-catching combination of Cream coachwork over Black wings, 'VDY 310' is now being sold complete with £1,000 worth of correct 20/25 tools. This fine-looking Post-Vintage Thoroughbred has apparently starred in a film at some point, and is only being sold due to the ill health of its long standing owner.
All successful bids must be paid in full by midday the day after the auction at the latest.
